Introduction

We are SoloBOSS LLC (SoloBOSS), are a membership company for online business owners. We provide an online Community and Site that lets you learn, collaborate, communicate, and share information and ideas with other members. We also provide access to facilitator-led online masterminds, coaches, mentors, and other services. Our aim is to be a complete Solopreneur Business Support System (Service).This Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) describes the types of information we collect via the Site, Community, and how we use it. It is also meant to help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you may be able to manage the information we collect. This Privacy Policy applies to the Site, the Community, and our use of social media sites and any other personal information obtained when you call, email, or otherwise communicate with SoloBOSS.

    By accessing the Site or the Community on any computer, mobile phone, tablet, or other device (collectively, “Device”), making a purchase from SoloBOSS, or otherwise interacting with SoloBOSS, including, without limitation, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the Privacy Policy, you are not authorized to use the Site or the Community. We ask that you read this Privacy Policy in conjunction with our Terms of Use. Any terms that are not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning ascribed to it in our Terms of Use.

    We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time, and will post the current version on the Site and in the Community, as applicable. We encourage you to periodically review our Privacy Policy to stay informed about how we are using your information.

    Information We Collect

    Information You Provide

    We collect personal information from you when you submit it to us, including by: (1) registering an account on the Site or Community; (2) subscribing or placing an order; (3) signing up for communications; (4) contacting us; or (5) participating in a promotion or survey. This information may include, for example, your first and last name, email address, mailing address, billing address, telephone number, date of birth, and payment method. We may combine the information we collect from you with information we receive about you from other sources. 

    We use a third-party card processor for all credit card transactions, and we do not store any credit card information on our Site or the App. We may collect personal information from you when you write a review on our Site or Community. 

    In some jurisdictions, individuals may have the right to opt-in or withdraw consent for certain uses. If you reside in such jurisdictions, you may have additional rights which are detailed below, “Access, Correction and Deletion.”

    Information We Collect Automatically

    Usage and Device Information. When you visit the Site or the Community or use the App, we may collect certain information from you, including, for example, your IP address, operating system, device-identifying information, how you interact with the App, Community and Site, the specific web pages visited during your connection, and the domain name from which you accessed the Site or Community. In addition, we may collect information about your browsing behavior, such as the date and time you visit the Site, Community, the time zone and/or location from which you access the Site, Community, the areas or pages of the Site, Community, or App that you visit, the amount of time you spend viewing the Site, Community, or App, the number of times you return to the Site, Community, or App and other similar data. We collect content you create in the Community, or on the Site such as tasks as well as information about the content you create or provide. We may also use non-personal or aggregated information for statistical analysis, research, and other purposes. 

    Cookies and Other Technology. We may use cookies or “local storage” to: (1) allow you to use the Service without having to re-enter your user name and password; (2) enhance or personalize your usage experience; (3) monitor usage; (4) manage the Site and Community; and (5) improve the Site, the Community and our Service, including providing you with interest-based ads. For more information on our advertising, see below: “Interest-Based Advertising.” If you choose, you can set your browser to reject cookies or you can manually delete individual cookies or all of the cookies on your computer by following your browser’s help file directions. However, if your browser is set to reject cookies or you manually delete cookies, certain functionality may be limited or restricted.

    We may also use web beacons and other applications or features to help us analyze user behavior and measure the effectiveness of the Site, the Community and our advertising. We may work with service providers that help us track, collect and analyze this information.We may combine the information we collect through cookies and web beacons with other information we have collected from you or information from other sources.

    Information We May Collect With Your Permission

    Email and Other Content. When you link your e-mail address to your account, you agree to provide us with access to your e-mail. Independently or with the help of third-party service providers, We may collect, with your permission, information and data contained in your emails (including attachments, photos, and documents), email contacts, calendars, and those with whom you communicate via email. Unless stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy, we may use this information to provide you with interest-based advertising services described in this Privacy Policy. Should you change your mind after providing permission, you may opt-out of sharing additional information with us by deleting your SoloBOSS account.

    The Community or Site will not use your Google data for serving advertisements.

    We will not allow our personnel or other individuals to read your data unless (a) we have your affirmative agreement to view specific messages, files, or other data, (b) doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, (c) doing so is necessary to comply with applicable law. 

    Non-Disclosure of Materials

    Material given to the Client in the course of the Meetings is proprietary, copyrighted and developed solely and specifically by the Company. Original materials that have been provided to the Client are for the Client’s individual use only and a single-user license. Client agrees that such proprietary material is solely for Client’s own personal use. Any disclosure, reproduction and sale by the Client to a third party is strictly prohibited.

    How We Use Information

    Firstly, we do not sell your information to any third party for any reason. We may use the information we collect from and about you for any of the following purposes: (1) to fulfill your requests for Service; (2) to respond to your inquiries; (3) to send you a confirmation email when you subscribe for the Service or make a purchase; (4) to review Site or Community usage and operations; (5) to address problems with the Site or Community, our business or the Service; (6) to protect the security or integrity of the Site, the Community and our business; (7) to monitor the Site, Community, and App for compliance with our Terms and the law; (8) to contact you with updates, newsletters and other informational and promotional materials from us and third party marketing offers from partners, as well as from other companies; and (9) to provide interest-based advertising to you based on the way you use the Site, the Community and other platforms.

    If you sign up for our mailing list, we will send you informational emails about offers of services. At any time, you can ‘unsubscribe’ yourself from our email list simply by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button.

    If you do not wish to receive communications from us about special offers and promotions, you can opt-out of receiving these communications by following the instructions contained in the messages you receive. Even if you opt-out of receiving these messages, we reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the Service, and we may send you Service announcements and administrative messages. We do not offer you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving those communications.     Film/Recording Release

    You hereby grants to the Company and to its licensees, assignees, and other successors-in-interest, all rights of every kind and character whatsoever in perpetuity in and to your appearance (hereinafter referred to as the “Appearance”) in connection with promotional footage, written script, print images and photography for the Meetings.

    You hereby authorize the Company to photograph, record, or release (on tape, film, print, website or otherwise), the Appearance; to edit at its discretion and to include with the appearance of others in the Meetings; and to use the Appearance in any manner or media whatsoever, including without limitation unrestricted use for purposes of publicity, advertising and sales promotion; and to use my name and likeness in connection with the Meetings.

    You hereby waive all rights, release, and discharge the Company from, and shall neither sue nor bring any proceeding against any such parties for, any claim, demand or cause of action whether now known or unknown, for defamation, invasion of right to privacy, publicity or personality or any similar matter, or based upon or relating to the use of Client’s Appearance. The Company owns all rights and proceeds resulting from Client’s Appearance. The Company is not obligated to utilize the authorization granted by Client hereunder.

    How We Disclose Information

    Because we strongly believe against the practice, we want to reiterate that we do not sell any information to third parties.

    Severability/Waiver

    Disclosure. We may disclose information collected from and about you as follows: (1) to our related companies and service providers, to perform a business, professional or technical support function for us; (2) to our marketing partners, advertisers or other third parties, who may contact you through our Site, Community and/or App with their own offers; (3) as necessary if we believe that there has been a violation of the Terms or of our rights or the rights of any third party; (4) to respond to legal process (such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order) and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law; and (5) in the event that our company or substantially all of its assets are acquired, your personal information may be one of the transferred assets. We may also disclose your personal information with your express consent. We may share aggregate, non-personally identifiable information about users with third parties.

    Please note that if you voluntarily submit any personal information for posting in a public area of the Site or Community, such as a review or a blog post, the information becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others, so you should use care before posting information about yourself online.

    Interest-Based Advertising. We may use third-party advertising companies that use tracking technologies to serve our advertisements across the Internet. These companies may collect information about your visits to the Site and the App and other websites and your interaction with our advertising and other communications. These advertising companies serve ads on behalf of us and others on non-affiliated sites, and some of those ads may be personalized, meaning that they are intended to be relevant to you based on information collected about your visits to the Site and elsewhere over time. Other companies may also use such technology to advertise on our Site or Community.

    Other Important Information

    Children

    Our Services are not intended for anyone under the age of 13. Neither the Site, nor the Community, nor the Services, nor the App are directed to children, nor do we knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of thirteen without verifiable parental consent. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us promptly as described below, and we will endeavor to investigate and delete such information from our systems.

    California Privacy Rights

    Right to Removal. California law permits our customers who are California residents to request certain information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. This request is free and may be made once a year. To make such a request, please write to us at the following address: [email protected].


    Right to Removal of Posted Information—California Minors. If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with us, you have the right to request removal of unwanted information that you publicly post on the Site or Community. To request the removal of such information, you can contact us as provided below. Upon receiving such a request, we will make the information not publicly available on the Site as applicable, but the information may not be completely or comprehensively removed from our systems and databases.
